Take part in the Bernina 'Sew & Show' Apron Challenge - you could WIN a sewing machine!

Spend an hour getting creative and embellishing an apron with a huge variety of products contributed by our generous CraftExpo exhibitors to make your own uniquely creative apron.

Using a Bernette sewing machine, you can add a variety of textiles including decorative fabric, lace ribbon, sequins and ric rac, plus adorn with stamping , stencilling, beads, crystals and more. Think fun, fashionable and funky. Make your apron a winner!

Once completed, the Apron Challengers parade their masterpiece through the classroom for the judges to view. Prizes will be awarded each session and by Sunday the apron maker voted the most creative will win a Bernette 56 for Bernina sewing machine valued at $399!

To join the challenge:

• 'Sew & Show' sessions run daily at 11:00am, 12:30pm & 2:00pm
• Each session runs for approximately one hour
• Aprons will be paraded by the makers at the end of each session
• Book at the Bernina Stand B23 when you arrive as places are limited
• The $5 fee covers everything you need to complete your project. Bernina Consultants will be on hand to show you how to use some of the built in features to create your apron
